Orkestra selected for Energy Lab Climate Solutions Accelerator 2023

August 14, 2023

Orkestra are pleased to announce our selection for Energy Lab's 2023 Climate Solutions Accelerator program. After a highly competitive selection process, Orkestra are one of ten startups who will be participating in the 6-month program with Australia and New Zealand's largest climate tech startup accelerator and innovation network.

Dedicated to reaching net zero emissions Energy Lab aims to accelerate the deployment of innovative technology solutions at scale in Australia and overseas, providing support, investment, coaching, industry partnerships and assistance in raising capital to expedite growth.

Selected by a committee of angel investors, Energy Lab CEO Megan Fisher noted that the 2023 startup cohort highlights the maturity of the clean energy and tech startup ecosystem in Australia and New Zealand.

"The technologies and intellectual property being developed by these startups is remarkable. This year's cohort is working on everything from low emissions aviation and steel production to more effective management of wind and solar resources to the much needed capability to recycle solar panels and batteries at the end of life. This program will support these startups to get to their next level of growth, ready to take these essential solutions to the world."

One of just a few SaaS companies in the cohort, Orkestra Co-CEO James Allston says the company are pleased to join the accelerator program as they look toward deploying their innovative feasibility modelling platform for solar energy projects to international markets.

"Orkestra is now used by nearly every Tier 1 and 2 energy company and solar installer in Australia selling commercial solar and battery solutions. We see EnergyLab as a critical enabler in assisting Orkestra to expand to overseas markets."

Alumni of the Energy Lab program include leading Australian clean energy companies and technology platforms such as Evergen, Amber, Amperon, Neara and EV.energy.

Orkestra is reinventing feasibility analysis for new energy projects making it easy, fast and accurate. Orkestra'a cloud-based software empowers teams to sell, consult and invest in commercial and industrial solar, batteries and EV charger projects, thus removing significant barriers to growth and investment in new energy.
